Shelby Etheridge Harasty, Member Leadership Council, National Capital Presbytery, Shelby was ordained and installed as Associate Pastor at Saint Mark on September 22, 2013. Shelby is married to Matt, and they live in Rockville. They have two silly, sensitive, and spirited young daughters, Amelia and Clara, and a fun-loving dog named Roscoe. As a family, they love swimming, exploring the woods and inventing new games to play. They also probably have too much screen time and eat too much takeout. It’s all about balance, right?
Around NCP she has served on the Specialized Ministry Team, Coordinating Commission of COM, Nominating Committee, and Board of the DC Young Adult Volunteer site.
Her greatest joy in ministry is gathering around tables; everywhere we gather is an extension of the table around which we share the Lord’s Supper.
