Kate holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an M.Div. from Columbia Theological Seminary. She recently completed leadership coach training and is in the ICF coach certification process.
A native of North Carolina, Kate has served churches in Memphis, TN, and in her current home city of Baltimore. She serves on the staff of the Presbytery of Baltimore as the Executive Director of The Center: Mission Outside the Box. Kate is passionate about growing the Church’s capacity to build authentic community across difference, and she loves getting to do that in communities and neighborhoods all over the Baltimore metro area through her work with The Center. Her two teenage daughters keep her honest, and her dog and cat keep her laughing!
