Rev. David A. Douthett, Leadership Council Member, National Capital Presbytery, Pastor, Catoctin Presbyterian Church, Waterford, VA, where he has served since January 2004. This is his third call; he served three churches in western Ohio. It’s been a while, but he previously served a couple of terms on the NCP Worship and Theology committee, when it existed. He served as a presenter for GenOn Ministries for over twenty years.
David was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. He studied aerospace engineering at Virginia Tech and went on to earn his MDiv at Princeton Theological Seminary. He met his wife Molly at Princeton (She is the pastor at Furnace Mountain). They have a grown son and daughter, a son-in-law, and a grand cat. David is an amateur astronomer and also enjoys cooking, canoeing, and painting icons.
