Please share what you believe are the key theological/social issues currently facing the church and society, and how they shape your experience in the church:
1. Divisions within the church body impacting society including causing a threat to our democracy

2.White Supremacy/ Racism ; The historical and present church is culpable for racist policies undermining the body of Christ; the church as a whole must take bolder steps (leaps) in this direction.

  1. Climate Change. Climate change affects refugees, immigrants, BIPOC peoples, children, elderly— the church is part of this.
  2. When we can address the top three in a courageous way led by our faith, the church will grow.

Please indicate why you want to represent National Capital Presbytery at the General Assembly: I will have been an ordained pastor for 12 years, and it is time that she in this responsibility by ordination vows to serve the denomination in a larger capacity. Practically with my children a bit older, I have time to be able to spent towards this. I bring skills of discernment, close reading, and collaboration that I believe would benefit the 2022 GA.
