Rev. E. Quinn Fox

Rev. E. Quinn Fox, Ph.D. is Moderator, National Capital Presbytery; he serves as Associate Pastor for Discipleship, National Presbyterian Church, Washington, D.C. and is a member of the Board of Directors and Program Committee of The Reformed Institute of Metropolitan Washington. Quinn previously served as an Associate for the PCUSA’s Office of Theology and Worship, directing the Company of New Pastors program. He has served five General Assemblies, two as committee staff, two as committee leadership, and one as overture advocate. He moderated the Committee on Theological Issues in 2014 that recommended the Belhar Confession to the Assembly for adoption into our Book of Confessions. He chaired the Committee on Preparation for Ministry in Pueblo Presbytery for many years while serving on the staff of First . Presbyterian, Colorado Springs. Ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in 1984, Quinn has served churches in a variety of capacities in Southern California, Washington State, Colorado and Tennessee, as well as two Presbyterian educational institutions: Whitworth University and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
