Multicultural Congregation Seeks a Stated Supply Part-time Pastor

Grace Presbyterian Church in Lanham, Maryland is a multi-cultural, multi-racial congregation with members from various countries. We have 200 persons in worship most Sundays, including 50 children from infants to highschoolers. We are searching for a part-time pastor, (25 hours per week). Our expectation is that this person will plan and lead us in Sunday morning worship and administer the sacraments of communion and baptism. He/she will also provide support and pastoral care to members, as needed.

We are looking for someone who is:

• a good listener
• open-minded
• mission-minded, and willing to help the church reach out to the neighborhood
• skilled in working in a multi-cultural setting and sensitive to different backgrounds
• willing to bring ideas and take the initiative as appropriate
