NCP Presbyterian Women
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves
- to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
- to support the mission of the church worldwide,
- to work for justice and peace, and
- to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
Presbyterian Women | PC USA Women’s Organization
NCP Presbyterian Women brings people from throughout our Presbytery together to join in prayer and Bible study, to support each other, and to learn about opportunities to work for justice and peace in our area and beyond. We typically meet three times a year beginning in January or February with our Prayer Gathering, at our Spring Gathering/Annual Meeting; and for a Fall Gathering. Since spring of 2020, we have offered a virtual attendance option for each gathering. We also encourage each other to be active in the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic’s annual Summer PW Gathering, and to attend the Churchwide Gathering, which occurs every three years.
