Shannon Wise, member at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Herndon, is leading a spiritual care group beginning Tuesday, May 26. The group is intended for faith leaders, mental health professionals, and others in the caregiving professions who might be experiencing emotional fatigue or overwhelm while caring for others at this time. Because many caregivers often neglect their own self-care to tend to others’ needs, we wanted to offer a safe space for emotional support and restorative practices shared in community.
