- Flexibility in style and practice
- Meaningful Relationships in connection
and accountability - Open Decision-Making Process and
Representative Governance - Lifelong Learning Orientation as we welcome curiosity and questions
- Education and Formation for Complex Lifestyles
We will provide connection, direction, and training through a variety of opportunities to support your congregation in its vital impact with one another and the communities around our congregations.
Resources:
The Congregational Assessment Tool (CAT) has been developed by Holy Cow! Consulting. It's a survey-based tool that is grounded in over 30 years of experience. Steeped in the theory of Organizational Intelligence, the CAT provides leadership clear insights into congregational vitality. You can also find a series of FAQs on the website as you scroll down the general CAT page.
Dialogue for Peaceful Change (DpC): In collaboration with Presbytery of Baltimore and New Castle Presbytery, this is a training to build leadership skills in management of change and conflict. Knowledge is gained for creative problem solving in response to patterns that may keep us stuck AND good practices when responding to change and conflict. Training can be adaptive for specific groups in churches. There will also be presbytery wide training courses throughout the year.
Allyship Training: We work with Service Never Sleeps in providing, at least twice a year, the training. NCP sees this as a baseline training. This is mandatory for all Minister Members of NCP. This training is available to all members and friends of NCP congregations.
MissionInsite is a cloud-based demographic and community analysis tool specifically for churches. Its goal is to help churches understand the communities they serve so they can make informed and strategic ministry decisions. Features include community mapping & demographics, religious & ministry insights, forecasting & trends, and strategic planning tools.
