There will be a showing of the documentary Exodus followed by a discussion with two of the people in the film. The film captures the urgent humanitarian crisis unfolding at the U.S.- Mexico. It tells the stories of the many migrants in who were fleeing violence in their home state of Guerrero, Mexico and seeking political asylum. It also highlights the courage and resilience of migrant shelter workers at CAME in Agua Prieta, Mexico. The workers refuse to be silent and are determined to give voice to the very people fleeing for their lives. The film will be shown at several places in the DMV on other dates including Westminster PC in DC on April 11.
