Rev. Keith Thompson is passionate about engaging with the world’s young people as we follow God’s voice in this noisy world. Keith is building a new campus ministry at the University of Maryland called UKirk Maryland (Go Terps!) and serving at Christian Community Presbyterian Church in Bowie, MD. For Keith, church is best when it has good music, good conversation, and dogs. Born and raised outside Atlanta, GA, Keith has been in National Capital Presbytery with his husband, Jimmy, and dog, Calvin, since 2021. If you know any students at UMD, send their contact information to Keith so he can get connected with them!
What Keith does: Keith serves as campus minister at UKirk Maryland, connecting with and ministering to students at UMD. In this role, he is also creating a Young Adult Vocational Discernment Cohort to bring young adults together who want to explore what it means to follow God as they decide who they want to be and what they want to do in this big, crazy world. He also serves as Associate Pastor for Young Adults and Mission at CCPC in Bowie, MD.
