Youth & Young Adult

National Capital Presbytery is committed to supporting our congregations and the youth they are in covenant with through our Baptism!  No matter the size or number of youth in your church, there is a way to connect with others so that we are able to have an impact with each other as we grow our churches.  To that end, there are a few ways for your congregation to connect with NCP youth ministry and other youth in our churches.

1. Financially contribute to NCP Youth and Young Adult Ministry as funds go into running the nine-month Presbytery wide Confirmation program every other year. Contributions support youth gatherings and retreats here in the DMV and beyond. Resources also support congregations hosting events for NCP Youth and Young Adult ministries.

2. Attend annual trainings provided by the Presbytery on Child Protection Policies, Allyship Trainings, Welcome All (LGBTQ+) trainings specific for member volunteers and youth ministers.

3. Join US in planning ideas and coming to our gatherings (twice a year).
