Interim Associate Pastor (Full-Time)

Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church (BHPC), a joyful, thriving congregation of 670 members located in Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Interim Associate Pastor to partner with us in ministry from around February 15, 2027, through mid-August 2027.

Primary responsibilities include:
1)      Helping organize and provide pastoral care, working closely with Deacons, resourcing our visiting and communion teams, and supporting memorial services.
2)      Investing in the spiritual development of members through leading our small group program, teaching Bible studies, and supporting adult education. 
3)      Supporting and helping lead weekly worship, preaching on average once a month.   Celebrating the sacraments.  Officiating weddings and funerals as needed. 
4)      Helping lead one four day July youth spiritual trip to Massanetta VA, in coordination with others.
Encouraging congregational involvement in mission, racial justice and service, in coordination with others.


Secondary responsibilities include:  
1)      Supporting the education and involvement of youth as needed, meeting at times with youth after worship.   
2)      Partnering with other staff on connecting members with opportunities for involvement in the congregation to enhancing a sense of belonging within the community. 
3)      Carrying out general ministry in our diverse community, in partnership and collaboration with our experienced staff and active congregation.

Annualized salary/housing $90,000 plus excellent benefits, including health care, retirement, vacation, study leave, etc, consistent with Presbytery guidance.
