Director of Providence Singers

Providence Presbyterian Church is looking for a person eager to leverage the power of music to share Christ’s love with residents of assisted living and memory care communities across Fairfax County. This person will serve as accompanist, director, and master of ceremonies for monthly performances of the Providence Singers, a small, casual, no-barrier-to-entry performing group that brings joy to the elderly by leading sing-a-longs of beloved secular songs (“golden oldies,” Broadway tunes, and seasonal favorites). This group’s success relies on their love of singing and service to bring joy to their audiences through music and its ability to reach people at all cognitive levels. The Providence Singers bring enthusiasm that facilitates genuine connection with the people they serve.
