Hello! I am the Stated Clerk of National Capital Presbytery. In this role I record the transactions of NCP, keep its rolls of membership and attendance, and preserve its records. I am the parliamentarian at presbytery meetings. I advise on any disciplinary processes that occur, interpret the Book of Order, and communicate on behalf of NCP with the Synod and the General Assembly. I provide staff support to the Bills & Overtures Committee, the Committee on Ministry, the Congregational Transitions Commission, the Session Records Review Committee, and the Leadership Council.
Previous to joining NCP (in 2012), I was an attorney for over 35 years at the Internal Revenue Service. In that job (and this), I tried to provide timely and quality service and help people solve problems. If you have a question, give me a call or send me an email and I’ll do my best to help.
