Director of Communication
As Director of Communication, I am responsible for developing and executing the communication plan of National Capital Presbytery. This includes determining the tools used for messaging the work of the presbytery. Our main tools for messaging are the website, Thursday Mail, and NCP Mission Highlights campaigns, and ALL NCP’s social media platforms.
Resourcing our Congregations
Communication – using NCP’s defined communication tools, www.thepresbytery.org, Thursday Mail (TM), all social media platforms of the presbytery: Facebook; Instagram; Twitter; and YouTube, the goal is to connect and inform the members of National Capital Presbytery. Messaging our mission initiatives through “Mission Highlights”, highlighting the ministries of our congregations through video presentations, “INSIDE…with the GP model for our congregations’ methods for sharing with their members and their communities.
Stewardship Committee offers workshops, webinars, and the expertise of its committee members to assist our congregations in creating a climate of Generosity and assisting with planned giving and the annual campaign.
