Heritage Presbyterian Church is seeking a part time youth director to work with the youth and families in the church to build up faith, community and awareness of God in the world and in their lives. The youth director will report directly to the pastor and work with the Christian Education team. The position is scheduled for 10 hours per week and the salary is $12,000.

The youth director will reach out to youth individually and through direct contact and social media. The youth director will teach the morning Sunday School class, confirmation class and organize monthly youth events.  These events usually include a combination of mission activities (e.g. helping with food distribution, walking to raise money for CASA or CROP), Bible/Worship activities (e.g. Visiting the Bible Museum, visiting other worshiping communities or leading worship at Heritage), and recreational/community building events (sailing, skiing, or trip to Luray Caverns).
