Seminarian Campus Ministry Intern

Dates of Employment: 9 months, during Fall/Spring Academic Year, 08/19/2019 – 05/23/2020.
Hours per week: 8 – 10
Stipend: $1,111/month ($10,000/9 months); must provide own housing and transportation.
Seminarian Intern will help to implement and expand our Campus Ministry Theological Exploration of Vocation (CMTEV) L3: Listen, Learn, Lead programming, with an emphasis on working with undergraduate students. L3 empowers students to discern and live into their Life Calling(s).

Setting: A major public research institution ranked 22 by US News and World Report. The University of Maryland, College Park is the flagship campus in the state’s higher education system. Located a few miles from the District of Columbia in Prince George’s County, the campus has 41,000 students from 50 states and 118 counties, and over 800 student clubs. Housed on campus in Memorial Chapel, and one of 14 recognized Chaplaincies, United Campus Ministry is a Christian chaplaincy supported by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the United Church of Christ, and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
