Northwood Presbyterian Church, a congregation in the Silver Spring area, is seeking a part-time (30 hours a week) Office Manager who is personable, organized, and self-directed. This position requires proficient computer and technology skills with Apple MacOS programs and Microsoft products, Publisher, QuickBooks, Zoom, a data base management system, social media development and maintenance. This individual will be responsible for preparing and publishing the weekly church bulletin and monthly church newsletter and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. The ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and information in a timely manner is vital. This position is a key point of contact to the community and reports to the Minister under the oversight of the Personnel Committee.

HOURS: The part time Office Manager position will work a 30-hour week: Monday – Friday, 9:00am TO 3:30pm (6 hours per day with 30 minutes for lunch) with 2 weeks of paid vacation. The hours can be adjusted to depending on the availability of the successful candidate.

EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree in Business or equivalent with 3 years of experience in office administration.
