Western Presbyterian Church seeks a part-time Director of Music Ministry to lead the next phase of our music and worship, to help grow and strengthen our community, and to establish new traditions. We are located in D.C.’s Foggy Bottom neighborhood, adjacent to George Washington University, and we host Miriam’s Kitchen. We have a strong progressive identity and a music program that honors our almost 170-year history.

As we adapt to worship, post COVID, music remains at the heart of how we worship, how we welcome and engage our community, and how we strengthen and expand our congregation. We are looking for someone who will honor and enrich the tapestry of our community, exciting and motivating us. The successful candidate sees music at the core of worship and spirituality, brings strong instrumental and conducting skills, is innovative and engaging, has proven leadership experience, and builds a broad blend of music into our church life.
