Director of Congregational Life (20 hours/week)

Job Summary: Develop and coordinate all-congregational events and fellowship programs that deepen our church community and connect members with each other and the life of our congregation.

Essential Functions:

  • As staff liaison to the Congregational Life Committee under the governance of Westminster’s Session, oversee the planning and implementation of all-congregational events (e.g. fall gathering, Palm Sunday breakfast, all-church picnic, etc.).
  • Support and equip church fellowship groups, including (but not limited to) the Men of Westminster, Tables for Eight (meal-based small groups), Crossroaders (singles late 30’s to 50’s), as well as our faith groups, church softball team and craft workshop.
  • Serve as a collaborative colleague in ministry with church pastors and staff and provide administrative leadership over program-related budgets, schedules and communications.
  • Coordinate weekly post-worship fellowship gatherings by scheduling and equipping volunteer hosts/groups.
